All staff we deploy to facilities are employees of Geri Health and therefore, they are insured and bondable.

All employees undergo a screening process and comply with mandatory requirements and training. To ensure updated training and knowledge, all staff are required to complete e-courses through the Surge e-learning program.

Mandatory requirements that all staff has to comply

  • Registration with good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario for both RN and RPN
  • Educational certification that includes nursing program certificate, PSW certificate
  • CPR certificate within 2 years
  • Masks fit certificate within 2 years
  • Police Vulnerable check
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Immunization record
  • TB skin test
  • Appropriate work permit, permanent resident, or Canadian citizenship
